I have the answers to the questions posted concerning the picture with the 11 guys in their
letter jackets. First their names.
Front row, left to right:
Larry Hughes, Jerry Cedrone, Pat Pollock, Dale Pharris, Wayne Johnson, Craig Bills.
Back row, left to right:
Tom Carter, Robert Smith (me!), Al Marshall, Jimmy Smittle, Steve Salyer (aka Sally).
The picture was taken in the den of (Clayton) Eddie Dyer, the head football coach. I remember
the cups on the fireplace had names on them. They were mementos of Coach Dyer's.
A little side note - Dale Pharris was my best man when I married my high school sweetheart,
Nina Putnam, in 1967. She is still my Sweetheart.

I was just glancing back at the 1965 yearbook picture of some of us "athletes" in Coach
Dyer's den when it struck me that the picture was taken by our yearbook photographer,
Gary Dewey. Gary was nicknamed "F.B.I", short for "Flash Bulb Idiot". He wore that moniker
with great pride. I do not believe that Mr. Ward gave him that nickname. I think it was coined
by one of the coaches.
