| Remember "Super Slides"? For a nominal fee, you got to take multiple trips down a huge slide on a burlap bag. We were told to go feet first, but as the above picture shows, some chose the head first approach. Some daring souls even surfed down standing up (or at least attempting to!), much to the displeasure of the operator. It sure didn't take much to entertain us back then! This photo may have been taken at the slide at Admiral and Memorial. |
