| By: Dana LeMoine (B.o.B. member) Ward used to post students class grades on the overhead projector, starting with the highest and ending with the lowest. This group of four students were consistently at the bottom of the list, hence the "The Bottom of the Barrel" moniker. It got to the point where we were almost expected to be at the bottom, and when our names appeared, some of our fellow students applauded. I remember going to Townsend Top Shop and having the B.o.B. shirts made. I proudly wore mine for many years, always having to explain to inquisitive folks what "Bottom of the Barrel" meant. To this day, I still have my shirt as a treasured memento of my time with Ward. By the way, we all managed a passing grade from Weird Ward. |
