This picture was taken at the 1978 State 4A Wrestling Championships.
As you can see, the FHC Poster Child for '77 - '78, took State.  

Ward Story:

Before Kramer left for the state tournament, he made a promise to Ward that when
he won the title, he would wear his FHC shirt during the awards presentation.
True to his word, as soon as he won the final match, he ran over to his mom in the
stands, grabbed the shirt from her, put it on and raced back to the podium.

Side note:

The kid he beat for the title was so mad about losing, that he didn't participate in
the awards presentation. Note the empty spot on the podium.

In a recent visit with Ward, Kramer revealed that every so often he phones the guy
he beat for the title to just visit. That was nice to hear. Ol' T.K.'s a class act!
